A majority of e-discovery professionals now use cloud e-discovery software, with cloud software providing clear advantages for easing workflows, lowering costs and reducing common challenges, according to a survey released today by the cloud-based e-discovery company Everlaw in partnership with the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS).

North Carolina-based TCDI, a company that provides e-discovery and cybersecurity software and services, has completed its acquisition of the e-discovery practice of London-based global professional services firm Aon.

The acquisition expands the range of advisory services TCDI offers while also expanding its e-discovery capabilities and geographic reach into the U.K., TCDI says.
