This week on How it Works, we’re joined by Daniel Diamond, Chief Revenue Officer at Alexi, for a brief demonstration of the software’s key features.

Alexi is, in their words, a “flexible AI platform trusted by leading law firms to develop proprietary insights, orchestrate high-quality work, and deliver stronger results — in a fully private, firm-controlled environment.”

In an interview with me back in January, CEO Mark Doble told me that this is the “first-ever” advanced legal reasoning tool for litigators, although the product was not quite ready for a public demonstration. Today, Alexi has returned to show us the progress it has made.

In this video, Diamond gives us a demonstration of their AI tools, such as:

  • Researching an expert using open web search
  • Document review
  • Strategizing with Alexi’s AI
  • Identifying inconsistencies in testimony

I also had the chance to ask some questions of Diamond, including:

  • Which types of practice Alexi is best suited for
  • Alexi’s pricing model
  • How the team gauges the accuracy of Alexi’s responses
