How satisfied are customers of legal AI companies? That question was put to attendees at the Strategic Knowledge & Innovation Legal Leaders Summit, or SKILLS, and the results are now in.
The SKILLS Summit, held March 27, 2025, in New York, brought together knowledge and innovation leaders from the largest law firms. In conjunction with the summit, organizers asked participants to rate how likely they were to recommend specific legal AI vendors to a friend or colleague.
Specifically, they were asked to consider nine factors based on their experience with each vendor:
- Product quality and reliability: Performance and effectiveness.
- Value for money: Cost vs. value, fair price, how widely used.
- Security: Confidence in the safety and protection of personal data.
- User experience: Ease of use, intuitive interface.
- Customer support: Responsive and effective customer service.
- Integration: Seamless integration with other systems.
- Roadmap: How much do you believe in the company’s vision.
- Joy: Your experience interacting with people at the company.
- Personal alignment: Company’s values, ethics and approach.
Based on this, the survey identified 15 legal AI companies as the ones participants would be most likely to recommend:
1. DeepJudge
2. Centari
3. Syntheia
4. Lega
5. SimplyAgree
6. Avvoka
7. vLex
8. DraftWise
– Vable
10. Legora
11. Jigsaw
– Relativity
– Josef
14. Definely
15. StructureFlow
“The Most Recommended Legal AI Vendor report is a tool that we hope will help bring the community — law firms and vendors — to work together in the AI journey,” Oz Benamram, the founder of SKILLS, told me.
“We have recently started creating opportunities for legal AI companies to educate the market through the SKILLS Seminars, and we hope to help vendors by establishing a clear voice for the needs of law firms.”
