Coheso, an AI-powered intake and work management platform that describes itself as a “legal front door” for corporate legal and compliance teams, today announced a significant enhancement to its platform with the addition of a universal contract lifecycle management (CLM) connector, which it says enables seamless integration and granular data mapping with organizations’ CLM systems.
The new capability allows information collected during the intake process to automatically trigger contract workflows, eliminating duplicative data entry and improving consistency across legal operations, the company says. The system can map fields between Coheso’s platform and an organization’s CLM system, while also pulling key contract data back into Coheso’s work management module to maintain a centralized view of all legal requests.
Coheso, which emerged from stealth in May 2024, has positioned itself as a comprehensive solution for in-house legal and compliance teams struggling with growing workloads and demands for faster response times. The platform enables business users to submit questions and requests through Coheso’s interface or through platforms already used within an organization, such as Slack and Outlook.

Coheso was founded by a team that includes Ned Gannon, its CEO and formerly founder of the AI-based contract analytics pioneer eBrevia, which was acquired by Donnelley Financial Solutions in 2018; Manish Agnihotri, its COO and chief innovation officer who was formerly a machine learning engineer at Zycus, where he was responsible for developing and deploying contract lifecycle management and contract analytics systems across Fortune 500 companies; Chirag Mehta, its chief product officer, and formerly a data scientist at HP’s Global Customer Support division, where he led the advanced analytics team; and Aditya Rathod, its chief technology officer and formerly an AI consultant at ValueLabs, focusing on developing solutions for contract drafting and review. Also a member of the company’s leadership team is Jason Schachter, chief strategy officer, who was formerly VP of strategy and operations at eBrevia.
“In-house legal teams are being asked to move faster, collaborate more closely with the business, and deliver greater strategic impact — all while managing growing complexity,” said Gannon. “With our new universal CLM connector, we’re closing critical gaps between intake, triage, and contract generation, ensuring that legal teams can maintain control while accelerating business workflows and enabling smoother collaboration.”
The platform’s AI capabilities automatically respond to routine inquiries using company-specific documents and policies, while routing more complex requests to the appropriate legal team members. According to the company, this approach can result in up to 70% faster attorney response times and improved data visibility across legal operations.
With the new CLM integration, when contract-related requests come in, information collected during intake can automatically trigger contract workflows directly – reducing friction, eliminating duplicative data entry, and improving consistency across legal and business operations, the company says. Fields are easily mapped between Coheso and the CLM, ensuring alignment with internal processes.
In a statement released by Coheso, Efftichia Dower, vice president of legal at M42 Ltd., who was recently named Legal Services Innovator of the Year in the 2025 LexisNexis Women In Law Awards, endorsed the platform, noting that it “takes routine questions off our legal team’s plate while simultaneously allocating and gathering information related to more complex requests.”
The announcement follows a strategic investment from Tola Capital, which joins existing investors Crew Capital, Character, FirsthandVC, Carnegie Mellon University, and several strategic angel investors.
Coheso will be exhibiting the platform at the CLOC Global Institute May 5-8 in Las Vegas next week, and also at the ITechLaw World Technology Law Conference May 14-16 in San Diego.
