Wednesday morning’s keynote session at ILTACON this year opened with a sobering and moving 25th anniversary tribute to 9/11. ILTA showed a 30-minute film it produced with interviews of ILTA members and friends who were in Manhattan that day, followed by an extended moment of silence as the names of everyone who lost their lives scrolled across the screen.

I was among those interviewed. I was editor-in-chief of The National Law Journal at the time, and I have previously recounted some of my memories of that day, here and here and here.

Today, on this 25th anniversary of that awful day, ILTA has posted the video it showed at the ILTACON memorial, which contained edited interviews, as well as the full interviews of each person who appeared in that video.

A special shout out is much deserved for Dawn Hudgins, chief experience officer at ILTA. Not only did Dawn have the foresight to pull this all together, but she did much of the work during ILTACON, in what I have to believe is already the busiest week of her year. The interviews were filmed on the Saturday of the weekend that ILTACON started, and they were edited into the final video in time for the memorial on Wednesday.
