For anyone with an interest in the legal news media, I recommend this interview with William Pollak, CEO, North America, of Incisive Media. Incisive owns a variety of print and electronic legal publications, including Law.com, The American Lawyer and The National Law Journal. Pollak gives an overview of Incisive’s lay of the land in North America and then shares his views on the present and future of print and electronic media.

One line that stood out for me: When he was asked what it means for a company to talk about its “brand,” Pollak answered, “A brand is a promise.” Be forewarned that the video is an hour long.
