I am thrilled to announce that I will be serving as emcee for the Masters AI conference in Dallas on Oct. 7, as well as for subsequent dates in Philadelphia on Nov. 11 and Miami on Dec. 8.

This is an AI conference that is designed to be hands-on. As the organizers say, “Less hype, more application.” There will be practitioners, in-house counsel, builders and operators in the room, working through what AI actually means for legal practice right now.

At the Dallas event, I will open the day with my quick read on where legal AI actually stands. Then, Nate Morris, cofounder of Filevine, will join three BigLaw partners for an unfiltered look at what it takes to make AI stick within a firm.

Later, “The Great AI Debate” will put practitioners on opposite sides of a question the profession may not be ready to answer, with the audience deciding who wins. Finally, in “Case Closed?” participants grouped by tables will use AI to work a live case in real time, voting on every move as it unfolds.

There will also be a round of lightning talks on AI in action and other sessions designed for the audience to be engaged and involved.

Hope to see you there!
