The American Legal Technology Awards has named the finalists for its seventh annual awards program, honoring outstanding achievement and innovation across multiple categories of legal technology. 

This year’s winners were selected from 234 submissions across 10 categories. Winners will be revealed at a gala awards dinner Oct. 25 at Suffolk University Law School in Boston. 

Finalists were selected by a panel of judges representing a cross-section of legal innovation experts and thought leaders. Nominations were free and open to all, and self-nominations were encouraged, consistent with the program’s independent and inclusive design.

“Every year I think the field has reached its ceiling, and every year these finalists prove me wrong,” said Tom Martin, co-founder of the Awards. “In a world racing toward AI, this group keeps pointing the technology at the people who need it most. These are remarkable humans doing the work that makes the law more accessible, more affordable, and more human.”

The gala will also include presentation of a Lifetime Achievement award, but no finalists are named for that award, as it recognizes a single honoree. 

The gala will feature a formal dinner and ceremony honoring the winners in each category.
