CaseMark’s court reporting platform gets its official name and a major expansion: transcript-linked video review, exhibit-ready certified packages, client self-service transcription and clipping, document translation, and a marketplace of more than 800 legal workflows.

PORTLAND, Ore., July 30, 2026. CaseMark, the AI workflow company for the legal industry, today announced CaseMark Source, the official name of its platform for court reporting firms, along with the largest set of new capabilities in the platform’s history. CaseMark Source is live today with more than 100 court reporting and litigation support firms.

The name reflects what the platform does. Everything a court reporting firm delivers, from transcripts and summaries to testimony clips and translations, flows from a single source: the matter and the record itself. Every AI-generated work product on CaseMark Source is grounded in the firm’s source files, and every deliverable reaches the client through the firm’s own branded portal.

New in CaseMark Source:

Synchronized video and captioned clips. Firms can play recorded testimony beside the timed transcript, click any word to jump the video to that moment, and search testimony to find the exact exchange. To build designation clips, teams can select a range from the transcript or simply describe the testimony in plain language, by topic, quote, or timestamp, then review the proposed match before creating named, captioned MP4 clips with speaker labels and timestamps.

Certified transcript packages. Where enabled, reporters can preview the certified transcript, edit cover and certification pages directly in the preview, and generate a complete multi-format package, including litigation-support formats such as PTX, LEF, and MDB, with an optional AI summary PDF included in the same exhibit-ready bundle. Firms can also bring in a transcript certified elsewhere and repackage it into the formats litigation teams expect, adding signature images, exhibits, a word index, and condensed formats, without recertifying or altering the authority of the original.

Client self-service, on the firm’s terms. Firms can now allow approved clients to create their own transcriptions and captioned clips directly in the branded portal. The firm decides which clients get access and what each service costs, from client pay-by-card to firm-managed invoicing to firm-covered.

A workflow marketplace with more than 800 legal workflows. Firms can browse and install workflows from agentskills.legal, covering deposition summaries, medical chronologies, hearing and trial summaries, and more. Workflows can be enabled firm-wide or offered to specific clients as requestable services, turning repeatable work product into a client-facing catalog.

Document translation. Firms can translate a text, Word, or searchable PDF document into any of 250 languages while keeping the original format. The result is a machine-translated working copy, searchable, chat-ready, and kept alongside the original for review; it is not a certified legal translation.

Insight Pass (beta). Before drafting a summary or analysis, Insight Pass asks a few focused questions about audience, side, emphasis, and depth so the first draft lands closer to intent, without anyone writing prompts.

Industry-leading multi-transcript interrogation. CaseMark Source lets litigation teams ask questions across 50 or more transcripts at once, compare testimony across witnesses and proceedings, and surface potential inconsistencies with answers grounded in the underlying record.

The release also expands matter chat to more file types, including JPEG exhibits and Excel spreadsheets, adds one-click switching between workspaces for users who work with multiple organizations, and introduces in-product release notes so firm administrators always know what’s new.

Availability and pricing. All capabilities are available now to CaseMark Source customers. AI-generated summaries start at $25 each; client-facing services such as transcription and clipping are priced by each firm. CaseMark Source is SOC2 Type II audited and HIPAA compliant, and customer documents are never used to train AI models.
