I have been meaning to write about the new Law Firm Research & Innovation Conference taking place April 28 in New York, and then I realized there is now some urgency to it, as ticket prices go up tomorrow, April 1.

The new conference is being organized by LegalTech Connect, the same team that produces the KM&I for Legal Conference, which I attended and covered when it launched in 2023.

Last year, the organizers of that conference, both veterans of the legal technology industry, Patrick DiDomenico and Kevin Klein, formally launched  LegalTech Connect as a venture devoted to connecting participants across the legal tech ecosystem through events, advisory services and educational resources.

This new legal research conference is described as “a focused, senior level forum for research, library, knowledge, and innovation leaders navigating the rapid convergence of data, AI, technology, and legal work.”

It is targeted at an audience of those involved in knowledge, research, innovation and IT roles at law firms and legal organizations.

The April 28 conference will be held at the SUNY Global Center at the State University of New York in New York City, located at 116 East 55th Street.

Through the end of today, the registration cost is $949. Tomorrow, it increases to $999.
