VANCOUVER, CANADA – September 10, 2026 – The American Legal Technology Awards today announced the finalists for its seventh annual awards program. This year the Awards received 234submissions across ten categories, the strongest and most competitive field in the program’s history. Winners will be revealed at the Awards Dinner Gala on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts. 

Finalists were selected by a distinguished panel of world-class judges representing a cross-section of the most respected legal innovation experts, thought leaders, and doers. Their expertise and insight ensure that each award reflects real impact and excellence. Nominations were free and open to all, and self-nominations were encouraged, consistent with the program’s independent and inclusive design.

“Every year I think the field has reached its ceiling, and every year these finalists prove me wrong,” said Tom Martin, co-founder of the Awards. “In a world racing toward AI, this group keeps pointing the technology at the people who need it most. These are remarkable humans doing the work that makes the law more accessible, more affordable, and more human.”

The Lifetime Achievement award is not listed among the finalists, as the category recognizes a single honoree. That recipient will be revealed for the first time at the Gala.

The Awards Dinner Gala takes place Sunday, October 25, 2026, at Suffolk University Law School in Boston. The evening will feature a formal dinner, fine wine, and a heartfelt ceremony honoring the winners in each category, hosted by Jackie Shafer. Co-founders Tom Martin, Cat Moon, and Patrick Palace will take the stage together to present the awards. Attendees can expect a vibrant evening of inspiration, networking, and celebration with fellow innovators, thought leaders, and legal visionaries.
