I’ve just learned that Bloomberg BNA has named Scott Mozarsky as president of its Legal Division. He will report to Bloomberg BNA CEO and President Greg McCaffery and will be responsible for driving the growth of the company’s legal products, including the flagship Bloomberg Law product.

Mozarsky replaces David Perla, who has reportedly decided to depart Bloomberg BNA in order to spend more time with his family at their home in the New York area.

Mozarsky, an attorney, joined Bloomberg BNA in 2014 and was the driving force behind the creation of its growing Cross Platform Division, which leverages content and market expertise to deliver a range of marketing and live event services to the company’s clients.

Prior to joining the company, Mozarsky held a number of leadership roles during a 13-year tenure at UBM plc, including president of UBM Tech and chief commercial officer of PR Newswire.

He practiced law for seven years in private practice and served as general counsel of UBM. Mozarsky holds a B.A. from Williams College and a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law.
